Sister at Play
ABOUT US

WiWilli is a companion to Wildwilli which depicts a fictitious character based, in part, on the childhood life of William C. Harrison. The sister site, Wildwilli, http://www.wildwilli.com presents the main character whereas this site is an off shoot of that site. The Wildwilli site deals with the likeness of teddy bears whereas the wiwilli site handles the likeness of dolls.

The setting for this story takes place deep in the country side of Eastern Louisiana where young William C. Harrison was born and grew up during much of his childhood years. His development centered around farming, fishing in local streams and creeks, and hunting rabbits, squirrels, raccoons and opossums. In the pursuit of these interests, he became acquainted with other kids chasing after the same interests. William C. Harrison, being black, often ran into white youngsters and territorial wars ensued. These white youngsters turned out to be the off springs of KKK but we did not know that at the time nor did we know what it meant to be a KKK. Often, we had fights one day and made up the next day. My story centers on the interactions with these youngsters. They will not be called KKK but young villains in this fictitious account.

The name Wildwilli reflects, in part, William C. Harrison’s childhood name (in the ‘40s) and, in part, his acquired name as a young Army Lieutenant (in the ‘60s). Willi and Will were short for William. He was called Wild Bill by his boss, Captain Wackenfuss, because of his assertive pursuit of his mission which was assigned to by him a Major General William Harris who also was known as “Wild Bill.”
